Considering Legislation In Your State

In order to promote uniformity in L3C legislation, counsel for ACD has drafted all current and proposed L3C legislation. ACD has found that the L3C legislation moves most efficiently through state legislatures when the legislation has a broad base of support. Accordingly, as a matter of policy, ACD will only provide draft L3C legislation in states where at least five ACD members have expressed active support for such legislation. Below is the current list of states for which legislation has not yet been formally introduced. Legislation has been written for many of these states*. If you are a member and would like to support L3C legislation in one of these jurisdictions, please contact us at info@americansforcommunitydevelopment.org. Once we have received requests from five members in your state we will contact you to discuss how to best introduce the legislation.
